Hi I’m Joanne! I’m a wife and “nurse mom” to 3 young adult children, dog lover, reader, and book reviewer. Our family lives in the suburbs of Chicago and Tom and I are the proud parents of three children, Joshua, Annalies and Kristen and grandparents to Gianna and the late Lilyanna Grace. Our family is a bit different than most as both of our daughters have rare inherited diseases: Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome and Mitochondrial Cytopathy (a metabolic form of muscular dystrophy). I, Joanne, am experiencing the effects of EDS, Mitochondrial Disease, Parkinson’s and Lupus. I’m also an advocate and medical liaison for others confronting similar medical challenges. Currently my life is dedicated to the happiness and well-being of my family and our dedicated service dogs (including my special boy, Skittles). Professionally, prior to disability, I was the Manager of Clinical Research at The University of Chicago. That position involved writing research protocols, abstracts and manuscripts; formulation of final study reports; and educational presentations. When I’m not reading, you find me watching TV, listening to music, and expressing my creativity by cooking, baking or making a variety of handcrafted items.
I read and review Well Written Clean Reads! Now I want to share my reviews and suggestions with others. I love reading traditionally published and self-published books. I read a variety of genres but my favorites are Cozy Mysteries, Mysteries, Amish Fiction, Christian Fiction, Paranormal Cozy Mysteries, British cozy Mysteries, Suspense/Thriller, and Sweet Romance. Seriously, I love books and I’m grateful that I have this outlet to share my love. I do respect the privilege of reading an ARC, I do not and will not sell or distribute in an unlawful manner.

Bree has been a bibliophile her entire life, bringing with reading at the age of three. With a heart for mysteries and an eye for clues, She found her way to the cozy mystery genre with a Laura Bradford series and hasn’t looked back. While reading is exciting, reviews are important to keeping the cozy world alive, Bree works hard to contribute reviews on each book she reads. A single mom, librarian, and student, Bree hopes to bring her favorite books to her community of followers on social media and patrons in Wyoming.
